SerPaCo GmbH & CO.KG is a member of the Amfori – Business Social Compliance Initiative – an initiative which is dedicated to the improvement of social standards in production countries. Through its membership, SerPaCo GmbH & CO. KG commits itself to the inclusion of its non-European suppliers in an auditing and qualification process, supporting them in their development.
The Amfori Code of Conduct is treated as a basis for our control measures.
The Code itself is based on the International Labour Organisation Convention (ILO), the UN Declaration on Human Rights, the UN Convention on Children’s Rights and the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, the UN Global Compact and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
The Amfori Code of Conduct codifies, inter alia, the right to freedom of assembly and collective bargaining, the ban on discrimination and child labour and sets wage, health and workplace safety requirements.
